Ive seen a lot of mono testing and such based on one or the other knots and comparing strength based on tests of many different common types of mono line. I would like to know what knots most other fisherman are using now? Also what they have been using for years while tying between terminal tackle such as specifically your swivel connection while drifting?

I personally either use the regular cinch knot or double cinch knot, depending on the line diameter size for almost all my mono fishing.

I use those two knots 90% of the time.
I agree, those are my go to knots and they are strong buggers

I use the improved cinch knot unless it is the hook which since 9-01-07 has been an egg loop. Pre-9-1-07 I fished the lakes and used pre-tied hooks.

Is it CINCH or CLINCH?

Whatever it it... I tie a bunch of 'em.

I do tie my share of Palomars, Surgeon's loops and Albright's though too.

The egg loops are what I tie most.
