After seeing a number of hens my first two trips to eastern wa the thrid produce my first rooster of the season but didn't see much geese and ducks moving. Took the pup (Jack) on his first trip to get use to the new smells and sounds he did well

I planted the rooster to have his first introduction to pheasant. he pick up on it right away.

Sunday took us to the Yakama Rez for a day of duck hunting.the pond had a lot of ice but some swans visit for a bit but not many ducks, we seen a lot moving but it seems they where shoot at a bit since they where tentative about coming in range. We ended up with five ducks between five of us but still was fun to get out!

Dog patiently waiting for some ducks

Cool pics, congrats on the pup. It almost looks like he is pointing.
Thanks and actually he's a Tiger Mountain Pointing Lab and has shown great potential!
