This year's kokanee spawning season was completed on Sept 28. Sept 26 produced almost (50) kokanee in about three hours until the deep, throbbing sound of an inboard motor on a 30 ft vessel turned off all the fish (kokanee, rainbow & cutthroat trout)for the day. This happens every time on this body of water with a heavy population of uncaring water skiers and jet skiers. Pick a calm rainy day for best action and without the crazies on the water. Best technique...
jigging 1/2 oz Sonic BaitFish jigs attached to the top of the back or nose. Chartreuse/UV white & hot orange/UV white are usually deadly while vertically jigged in 58-65 ft of water. Use a fish finder to locate those suspended fish. Good catching. Pete
