Hey guys,

I know there is a wealth of knowledge on this board and im hoping some of you will be willing to lend me a hand in seeing some blood! the area i hunted had very few deer available and due to work i never really got much upland despite plenty of oppertunity. Im thinking rabbits or some other small game or vermin this saturday if anyone could help me get into some kritters i would really appreciate it and ill bring the new D40x and return with porn if successful... thanks in advance!

True dat! It is getting close to baseball season though, Elmer!

Years ago we used to go over by Lewiston about this time of year, and pop the little furries along the riverbank. Also, ground squirrels were a favorite target just north of Coeur d' Alene.

No, I didn't read the regs and assumed wrong. I'm really surpised it's still open.

Half way across O'Sullivan dam there's a pullout on the south side. It's parking for hunting the state game land below. Walk to the many broken up rock piles and that's where I used to shoot cottontails in the snow.
