This has been in the Forums of another site that pretty much wiil charge all vehical owners for the size "Liters" of the engines in their vehicals. The amounts range from $70.00-$600.00 charged each year for the needs of the Governor and her agenda.

I never did like her. Now I have one more reason. Balancing budget or making cuts are not actions that she knows how to do or even wants to know how to do. If she needs money its tax, tax, tax. sick:

I emailed my state senator about it and got this reply.

Thank you for your message about SB 6900, Vehicle Engine Displacement.
The bill did not pass out of the Transportation Committee so will not be
voted on by the full Senate this session.

I heard some senator on the radio today trying to justify it, completely lame. He even seemed to realize his reasonings were bogus as he was trying to make them.

Same topic has been kicked around here lately in another forum; Word is it will never fly and is on the cutting room floor. No worries this year. Stay tuned though for more insane thoughts coming from Capitol Hill though. sick:

As of a few minutes ago, the information that I have on SB 6900 is that
it never made it out of the Senate Transportation Committee, nor did it
even have a hearing (that should tell you volumes about the lack of
support for the proposal). Also, the deadline for hearing bills in the
house of origin was Tuesday night at 5:00 pm. This bill did not even
make it to the floor of the Senate. You can check the progress, or lack
thereof, of this bill from the following link:
http://apps.leg.wa.gov/billinfo/summary ... &year=2008

If you are hearing or reading anything to the contrary about this
measure, please let me know. And I would be very interested to learn
where you heard about this bill even being considered for passage.

Thanks,

Jim
