I got to the jenky dock around 7:30 pm or so. I started off tossing a 4" Tru-Tungsten Tru-Life Swimbait in Rainbow Trout Color. It was the fast sink version with both tungstens balls inserted. I started off casting at the edge of the lilys and the shoreline. I was using various retrieves. When I was pausing and jerking it, I noticed that it just sort of curls up and falls backwards straight down. As it was falling I watched a huge football largie come out and slam it. ended up being 6lbs. I promptly put it on a stringer. ended up with dinks the rest of the day. mosquitos are bad so be careful.
