Floated from Darrington down today. Raining like it does on the Penninsula. Water was around 3000 cfs in the morning and ended the day at 6000...unfishable. Three other pontoon boats. We were the only driftboat with no takers. I consider myself fairly experienced behind the oars and so is my fishing buddy who has fished the Sauk for 16 or so years. There are some tricky parts up there between creeper rocks and the sweepers. A guy could end up in the water quick if he doesn't know what he's doing. Be careful up there. The water has changed a lot. There's a lot of channels...pick the right one!
