Im going to be going to eastern washington in april for my annual turkey hunt and wanted to hit Rufus Woods in the same trip. Has anyone fished it during this time and is it still any good? Seems like the winter is the most popular. Also is there any special regs I should know of at this time of year as well?

Its still good, just not as good as mid-Winter.

We fished it a couple days last Spring (around the April opener) when we were staying at Jameson. The fish were smaller, and seemed to be more scattered.

For the four guys that fished it,we had about 1/2 our limit as 14-15" fish. One about 5lbs and a couple other maybe 2lbs.

If you're in the area its worth stopping by. I wouldn't make the 200+ mile drive from my house specifically to fish it in the Spring/Summer though.
