I don't have any experience with those models, but I do have a Beretta 92FS. It is a 9mm, I'm pretty sure the model 96 is the 40caliber model of the same gun. I am very happy with the Beretta, it is easy to break down making cleaning easy. I'm sure someone will chime in who has experience with those models. One of the biggest things in choosing a gun is fit.
Pistol Help?
I am looking at getting a .40 caliber, semi-auto handgun. Most of my handgun experience is with revolvers. I have narrowed it down to these 4 guns. If anyone has experience or knowledge with any of these I would really appreciate the help. All of these are below $500, if you were wondering why I chose only these. Smith and Wesson M&P, Stoeger Cougar(formerly Beretta), Beretta PX4 storm, and Springfield Armory XD. Thanks, Mike
