Those do look nice. How do they compare quality and price wise to an Abu Garcia Record or Shimano Calcutta?

WAYYYYyyy better and I mean WAY better quality than an ABu Garcia and much the same quality and price as a Calcuttta 400 but more steel, less plastic and made in USA!

By the way - you're responsible for turning me on to the Internationals. I have a 955 and absolutely love it. I'm planning to add a 965 but right now I need another reel like a hole in the head.

I have a feeling my International(s) will be with me for a lifetime. Truly one the highest quality reel I've ever had the pleasure of using.

These are great long casting reels for the Kenai. I use the 975 CS packed with 60lb PowerPro for Kings.

You cant go wrong with them. I switched to them about 3 years ago and no troubles so far Tup:
