Why not? Get hit with a new venue what's wrong with a new personna or alias? This is a frustrated thespians hangout anyway. Besides you can have fun guessing who's who. Although if you can count it's too easy.

Lol I suspected, Herr Traut, that you might recognize the name. There are a few of us around that can recall the history and the man, soldiers, name. He was one of the first 'special forces' types. A commando leader und so weider. I know some here would call him a Fascist or Nazi but I considered him a soldier. Robert E Lee was also a soldier.
Robert E. Lee's birthday used to be annotated on the calendars. January 19th it was. It has been replaced in the name of political correctness.

I was wondering if it was that Skorzeny! I recall a report I did some 35+ years ago on the Peron regime in Argentina, and ran across Otto back then. A lot of "expatriots " ended up down south after the war.

Yup, that Skorzeny. And yes a lot of political refugees and what the winners called war criminals found a home in S. America. Germany always had a love affair going with the Argentines, Chili and the ''guays. I suspect that some of that refugee money also buys a lot of clout down that way even now.

Here was little old me thinking that the Reps had got together and agreed on name change because the Lefties were kicking their butts too much and always winning the arguements and so they fled and tried to regroup under different names. Yup that's about right.

Good one Sir John! Tup: You are never too old to dream. :)

Otto was definately a respectable soldier, and never a communist like the lefty hero Che, but could you leave the "guays" out of this thread please, Their idea of a fighting 'man' is more on the order of John Kerry.
