A solid season for Sexton that would benefit the team would be hitting .260 with 25-30 hrs and drive in 100. The hrs and rbi's shouldn't be a problem, the average is going to be a bigger issue. If he can just get off to a decent start, I think he will be okay.
M's resign lefty Horacio Ramirez
For 2.75 million.. Ho-Ram will add depth in the competition for the 5th starter. I'm sure with new pitching coach Mel Stottlemyre, Ramirez will be an upgrade over last years version of himself.

He could make himself a ton of money with a good year. Maybe he will get hot in July and we could move him for some prospects at the trade deadline to fill in some holes left in the farm system by BB raping it for 2 years of Bedard!!!!
One thing I've noticed about alot of Mariners. (except A-Rod) They all love it in Seattle. Jose Guillen for example, Jamie Moyer, Freddy Garcia, Etc... If Bedard plays for Seattle and Seattle has a good two years, I garuntee he'll stick around.
I just hope we never have to find out..
