Just a quick FYI for those running around MA10... swung along Alki today and there was a LOT of lumber floating from Alki Point all the way down to Three Tree, so keep your eyes peeled. T

Yep, I can vouch for all the timber in the water in area 10. I made a short run from Shilshole to Edmonds on Sunday and went through a debris field around the Richmond Beach area. Ran over a 2x4 at 25 mph that got shredded in my prop. Saw what looked like a telephone pole floating...had to be 24+ inches in diameter and 15-20' long. Saw that one in time!! Rainy/stormy season equals water obstacles out on the sound.

Thanks for the heads up. Big tides and winter storms can really bring the wood out. Not a good time to be out after dark, for sure.
