The river is prety dead around sultan from what I've seen. We fished sun up to sun down yesterday without even hearing abou a fish caught. We had guide boats asking if we had even heard of a fish caught. We fished from almost gold down to ben howard outta the sled. Sidedrifting, plugging, spooning, float and jigging, nothing at all. Anchored and the mouth of the wallace and still nothing.
fished it today off the hatchery side. went 2 fer 3 in first hr off daylight. then nodda nothin i seen probably 6 fish caught for 60+ people. i got lucky there was a few in front of me. ill be else where tommorow. Mike
The Wallace is dead unless you go up to the Hatchery, talked to a couple of Buddies that fished it yesterday and today, and all they had to show, was a story about a little black Mink that tried to steal their eggs laying on the ground, must be one from the sultan mink farm that escaped last year  , so I would try reiter or at the Hatchery at the Wallace, down low isn't good right now, good luck
