Come the 26th we are headed to the coast to fish with Letty Potter. My first experience with this type of fishing having never paid a guide to do what I can do free. However I hear great stories about this fishing adventure and am looking forward to the trip. I and two of my best friends will fish the 27th on either the Salmon or Cook Creek I'm told, so if all I hear is true, I will try to post some pic's if I can. I will tell the story though, no matter what.

As of 10:25 this morning the trip is doubtful. River conditions are not good. The go or no go will be made later tonight but we have canceled the motel and are waiting word from Letty about what to do. sick:

Met some guys last week comming back from fishing on the Quinault. They were fishing the tribs and had a great week. Poor fish are all nosed up in the fresh sweet water trying to get their gills clean. They said it's a great fishery. Thinking about spending the doe to bring my boy up there.
Damn, it became official at 5:00 this afternoon. Trip canceled . Letty has canceled all her trips for the time being. There are no fish to be had she says. She and other guides fished 9 today with only 8 fish to the bank I guess. She says she thinks the fish are either late or not coming.
Steve Foley, bio for the Green also said this afternoon that the run is down all along the coast so far. Sure hope the nates save us again like in years past.
