OK folk I figured I'd turn a crummy thing into a game. Guess the dollar anmout of damage just by the photos. No questions. Just by the pics..It's a 2007 Nissan Altima 3.5 V6. That's all you get...

The photos aren't that great, but it doesn't look too bad. I think the trunk is jsut open, not damaged. Also, the quarter panel doesn't look damaged. Looks like a new bumper that would need to be painted to match. $2,850.

Looking again at the photos, bet they say you need a new exhaust system as well, plus brackets. I still think the junk yard is the way to go to save bucks.

You really can't tell 'til you pull off the rear and look underneath, but just for kicks I'll say 10.5K, plus depreciation/diminished value (roughly 20% of the car's fair market value) for another 3,700. Incidentally, if the insurance co. tells you they don't pay for the diminished value, they're full of it.

BTW, I sure hope everyone is OK.
