Floating the Nisqually River

Can anyone tell me if the Nisqually can be floated with a driftboat from the power plant near Yelm to the Handicap hole near Mounts Road? I read a few comments talking about logjams and was wondering if the river is still navigable with a 16' driftboat. Thanks
