For those of you Fishermen that enjoy fishing from Dash Point Dock and have a good memory, you may want to write down these WDFW Date's for the next "Run of Pinks" in 2009.
What go's around, swims around and usually about the same time of "Odd" Year. "TRAPPER"

PUGET SOUND SPORT FISHING "FISH CHECKER" RESULTS
August 4th-31st, 2007

08/31/2007 Dash Pt Dock, Anglers 45, Pinks Taken 27.

(#46 ON THE MAP)

Coming from the North:

Take I-5 South, Exit #143 (Federal Way/S. 320th).

Turn right onto South 320th heading west; you'll pass the Sea-Tac Mall.

Continue on 320th until it ends (approximately five miles).

Turn right on to 47th St., follow for 1/4 mile till it ends.

Turn left onto Dash Point Rd. Follow for one mile.

Turn right onto Markham Ave., follow Markham Ave. to the bottom of the hill.

Turn right on to Soundview Dr.

You will see the Dash Point Country Park Fishing Pier and Puget Sound.

There is parking to the right in the County park parking lot.

Coming from the South:

Heading North on I-5 North, take Exit #133 (City Center/North 705).

Follow the City Center sign onto a small section of the free-way (North 705).

Take the first exit called Port of Tacoma/North 509.

Turn right onto North 509 traveling across the new Tacoma Cable Bridge.

Follow North 509 for approximately 10 Miles. (You will be traveling across the tide flats of Tacoma.)

When you reach the stop sign in front of the Cliff House restaurant you will continue straight on North 509 for approximately 1 1/2 miles.

Watch for Marine View Church on the right hand side of the road, and then take the next left onto Markham Ave. to the bottom of the hill.

Turn right onto Soundview Dr.

You will see the Dash Point County Fishing Pier and Puget Sound.

I wondered about that too, as the Pt. Defiance Ramp took in 67 Pinks the same day and the Redondo Ramp had a count of 16 Pinks
(they must have missed all those stuffed down inside those Waders!) :lol: "TRAPPER"

COUNTING FISH OR SHEEP?
