i had a buddy that knew henry hill. the dude in "goodfellas", played be ray leota. and he told me how hed make these little morsels. first you dice mass quantities of garlic and melt butter in a pan and throw the garlic in the melted butter and simmer. steam as many clams as you want. bust off half of the shell and lay the half shell clams out on a cookie sheet. then you take a teaspoon and fill each halfshelled steamer clam with the butter making sure you get enough garlic in each shell, i like to fill them up till they on the verge of runing over. then you cover the clams with shredded parmesian and broil untill the parm has just melted and serve. these babies do not sit in the cookie sheet very long so make alot of them. people go ape over these. next time i make these i might add a little diced bacon in there too. theyre a little labor intencive but youll be a hero i garoontee!
