The Cougs play USC thursday night on Fox. What no DAWGS? .....against NO.5 UCLA. Maybe Brockman can help us out by softening up UCLA with his hooking.

FSN is doing the right thing. Cougars are the best team in the PNW and they deserve to have their games over the Cougs, Ducks and Beavers. I can't wait until the WSU/UCLA game....holy crap talk about a defensive battle

Dawgs will be on a different Fox Sports channel.. It was part of the package that comes with the NFL Network, available on Comcast for 6 bucks a month.. Channels 412 thru 418.. I'm sure Bobby Knight has a bottle of champagne chillin with the Cougs name on it !! wink:

The Dawgs could give UCLA a hard time, they need a road win to get some respect in the Pac 10. It pains me to say it, I will be quietly rooting for an upset. Radio and TV going Thursday night, Go Cougs and that other team...... Tup:

Ducks are streaky, they live and die on the 3ball. UCLA is a very talented team, but so are the Cougs. I expect the game to be physical just like the Cougs/Huskies game was and it should be a close one.

The cougs are averaging 69 pts vs. 83 for the Ducks and 75 for UCLA. Unless they find a lot more scoring, they won't beat either one.

Have you even watched the Cougs play? That is their game slow things down and play tough defense! UCLA and Oregon don't know what defense is. Cougs will hold both of these teams under 70 I am sure of it!Uncle Cory said:

If things were just based on averages, why aren't the Ducks ranked higher than WSU or UCLA for that matter? Just because you can run up the score on non-conf. opponents doesn't mean they should win because they average more points a game.Uncle Cory said:

Cougs are No.1 in the country in scoring defense 49.8, Ducks No.264. Looking past any PAC 10 team would be a mistake but using Oregon and UCLA in the same sentence....

Half of the Cougs good defense is their offense and tempo.. Limit the other teams possessions and you can limit the other teams scoring. Heck the Huskies held them to 56 points and although their defense has improved it's still crappy..The Cougs never took a shot with more than five seconds left on the shot clock and not because of the husky D, It's their way to slow down the other teams offense ..It's a great was for a historically less talented team win.. slow the other team down, shorten the game, keep it close, hope like hell at the end..I think the Cougs have the most talented team that they have had in years, maybe ever and it's not just because the Bennett's are Genius's. Aron Baynes has an NBA body and is pretty crafty around the hoop, Low and Rochestie are good shooters and Kyle Weaver is a poor poor maybe even homeless man's Brandon Roy..I think they are good enough to blow some teams out but their slow pace will get them into a lot of close games where anything can happen..
