Anyone notice how cold its been lately? I don't know about you guys up north but down here, for about 2 weeks now, the high has averaged in the upper 30,s to low 40's. Lows have been upper 20's (if clear) if cloudy, if its raining its at 33 or 34 degrees.

It seems to be that time of year

But kidding aside, yeah it seems to be more consistently cold then I remember. It seems to always be on that fringe of almost snowing which is exciting, but sucks when it is cold but not snowing :(

Bad thing is the passes havn't received enough snow. Which might explain the temperatures being low as there have not been too many clouds to raise the temperature around here. In winter when it is blue skies it is usally cold as ****.

We all know every year has different weather. I do recall it snowing and being cold in late November early December last year. I also remember waking up to snow in late November 2001ish too. I haven't seen it as being unusual if that is what you're saying. We haven't seen our highs drop the 20 degress with lows near or at single digits for awhile so we haven't really been all that cold. I will admit that it has been a little chilly though.

If you want some cold come on over to my side of the state. We are around 20º for the high and have been that way off and on since mid November except for a day or two. We have been in the teens at night and even single digits a time or two. I don’t call it cold however until we get into the minus temps.

Did I mention, it has been snowing lightly here all day.

Uh, It's winter. I work in a skyscraper that only has a partial envelope system completed. No need to shed layers but a huge necessity to add them as the day progresses and the wind picks up.Kind of puts a damper on the view of Lk.Washington when your eyes are frozen open/shut,dependent on which position when turning into the wind.
