Hey All,

Looking for new water to fish. Has anyone ever fished Saddle Mountain Lake? It's just NE of the Vernita Bridge, which is just below Priest Rapids Dam on the Columbia River.

Looking at it on GoogleEarth it looks like it's a catchment for unused irrigation water. Driven by it hundreds of times, but never been down to it. Looks fishy as all get out.

Anyway, any info would be appreciated.

It is also on the closed part of the Columbia wildlife refuge. Try some of the potholes around Royal City (south of). There are some really big bass, look out for ticks and rattlers!
