Any Pearch or is it done until spring? I ran out and need to have another pearch fry soon. May have to wait till spring though I suppose. If anyone has gotten into any please let me know and how deep and all that. I have heard you can get them deep till end of Jan but that they are hard to find. I suppose I may have to hit the rivers instead eh and bust out the steelie vest and gear.

There are many lakes in Washington that contain perch. And here in Banks Lake we can catch perch year round.

Perch can be caught all year round if you are using the right bait and fishing on or just off the bottom. Try going down to 1lb leader or even 12 ozs, if you can get that smaller line across there. Hook size nothing bigger than an 18. Chopped worm. Remember you are fishing in the colder weather and they will not eat so much. Main line 2lb will get them to the boat or bank for you.

Well hit Sammamish today for a few hours. Docks are still submerged. We trolled for a bit with a fly and a Apex lure just to see if we could pick anything up. We looked for any sign of pearch and found nothing on the finder what so ever. Searched in water from 30-80 feet deep and found nothing worth dropping a marker bouy for. I think if I hit Sammamish again this winter I will just target Cutts and look for pearch in the spring. Did talk to a few people who did catch some cutts though about 15 feet down.
