I tried a new spot today on the Carbon without catching anything but I saw one guy lose one across the river from me. He was not happy about it. Another guy said he had a hit on a wiggle wart type plug. About 8 others came and went with out anything.
I fished a pink corky and when I lost that I fished a double red corky and when I lost that I put on pink corky with cerise (is that the spelling?) colored yarn. I also added on them a little bit of cured eggs on a few casts.
The visibility was endless. I fished 2 hours from 11am-1pm.

I was on the Carbon for a couple hours this morning. Saw 1 guy get a nice fish with a side planner and plug. There's been a few nice fish caught recently.

Nothing for me today but leaky waders!

Let me add my report for today. I went 4 for 4. The surprise was the first 3 fish. All mint bright native silvers. Estimated 3 pound, 2 pound, and 4 pound. The 4 pounder had a nice little hooknose. They were all caught on a pink and glow corky with eggs. I then switched to float and jig (jig was a Leo's style red and white) and caught a standard 7 or 8 lb. hen brat steelhead. She was also very bright (and very tasty), had two great leaps and a couple of sizzling runs. I was fishing in the drift behind the treatment plant. Fished for 2 hours this afternoon. Water was beautiful, about 2 - 3 feet of visibility and I found all of the fish at the head of the run.

I took a pic of the steelhead but somehow managed to delete it from my camera. If I can recover it, I will post it.

nice fish Eddie Tup: Maybe they're ALL late this year...including the nate silvers. Guess I'll have to go down and wet a jig. Thanks for the report!
