Well that's typical. What use to be a neat, little, private web cam is now a commercialized fleecing of the resource.

    DAM IT!!!

Are you guys just jumping the gun? or are you not going to the right spot to view the live cam?

    Welcome to America Tup:

It's kind of just like here!

Nothing is really free…..everyone pays some little price

If they can get a little reimbursement for our pleasures, go for it!

I have a website and it costs money. He just sold advertizing. Now the site can pay for itself. But I think they have their property for sale so it won't always be there.

Edwin is a very good friend of mine who happens to be retired and on a fixed income. He works very hard to keep that webcam system (camera outside, computer inside) up and running, and very recently spent a lot of time and money improving the bandwidth of the webcam so that many more of us can view it simultaneously FOR FREE.

He can't get out and fish as often as he would like, but he gets a big kick out of helping all of us out.

I, for one, really appreciate it and say more power to him!

And by the way, his property is NOT for sale.

Good! I have just started watching it when I can. One morning it was swinging around and I saw a for sale sign. That is why I thought it was for sale. If he is there he will zoom in and you get to see the boats real good. One group held up the fish and everyone waved at the camera. It is almost like I was there.

It is a very cool website! This morning I showed my son and he thinks it is the coolest thing and will be watching it on his iphone.

Here is a wet picture form today http://www.gamefishin.com/community/viewtopic.php?f=29&t=34656 the picture is not at its best because of the drenching we are getting.

Did I miss something here?? Am I going to be getting a bill for viewing Cowlitz River Live? Some people are just THANKLESS to the point of attacking people who are providing something for FREE. 2 MANNY needs to explain how the resource is being fleeced by Cowlitz River Live and their Sponsors. Perhaps a apology to the fine folks and sponsors who put the site on is in line,

"Cowlitz River Live" is still a neat little, private web cam and if you like the site I would encourage all to support the sponsors. I know I will.
