Submitting a Location or Description
![]()
Thanks for stopping by! Our users are a very important resource for information about the thousands of locations that exist to fish at. By helping up maintain our database with up to date information you will be helping thousands of your fellow anglers better enjoy thier sport.
We do require that you do a few things before submitting your information. The poor guy who has to update all these records has requested that you do the following when submitting your information for a location or requesting that a new location be added.
If requesting a location be Added (if not, then skip and go to the next bullet):
Check the appropiate location index page to ensure the location definitely isn't already listed.
Perform a search (www.google.com usually works nicely) on the name of the location and the county you believe it's in to verify that it is, indeed, in that county.
Be sure to include the name, state, and county in your email when you submit the request.
If submitting descriptive information for a location:
Please make an attempt to use proper spelling, grammar, and punctuation. We don't mind fixing a few errors here and there, but when we have to basically retype everything that was sent it becomes a burden.
Please, do not submit information for more than one lake per submission.
Please provide the state, county and the location's name in your subject.
Descriptions should include, when possible, driving directions, location size, species availible, how heavily pressured the location is, and what kind of fisherman the location attracts (bait fisherman, fly fisherman, trolling, heavy boat traffic, good for floattubes, etc, etc). Just try to give us a good feel for the location.
Pictures - You may submit photos (limit of 2) provided they are of good quality and no larger than 640x480 in screen resolution. We make no promises that your photo's will be used.
Once you've got all of that in order, you may make your submission by clicking here.
