I hooked up on a nice sized steelie yesterday guessing about five to six pounds. Saw a guy pull out about a 4 lb chrome bright hen at the park. I was using egg scented bobber and jig. any other suggestions for bait or lure please list in comments. I fished for about 2 hours then went home, when it got dark.

Fished the s curves today with no luck. My amazing cousin lost 2 silvers. Water low and clear fish are lock jawed. Not a good way to start the year, off to the Cowlitz Saturday.

Fished hard with eggs and carise colored yarn out in the 27 degree air. I was rewarded with two hook ups, but only landed one chrome coho. Heard of a couple semi colored coho being caught a little higher up the river.

Fished up and down the river yesterday, and this morning. The river is quite low. I did find some chum and kings, but they were very dark, nothing that I really wanted to take home. Hope the rain comes soon, so we can get the new fish moving in.

Down on the lower river this morning, and saw 2 jacks hooked. Eggs seem to be the ticket, as spinners didn't work. Not many fish moving now, due to the very low water.
