09/18/2013 - gerrit - Bainbridge Island Lake, Kitsap County, WA
fished meadowmeer today around 9 and fished with spinners and flat fish and landed a nice 17" and around 12 i got a huge 28" rainbow on a yellow 3" flat fish. it was slow after that but put a hook a foot above a weight and attach a float that moves freely on your mane line with a little bit of power bait or marshmallow and your in luck. also fly fishing is great if you don't get tangled wholly buglers are the way to go.
12/8/2013 - Sam - Tokul Creek, King County, WA
With this cold weather I decided to checkout Tokul Creek, and nobody was fishing it. So got my waders on, grabbed my fishing gear and tried just below the little bridge. I seen 3 steelies sitting behind a big rock boil so I flipped my EZ eggs and yarn out there and seen him grab it. Fish on after a 5 minute fight I slowly slide it on the bank. Nice 8# chrome hen with tight eggs. Later hooked 2 more but landed a smaller hen. 2 for 3 with nobody on the creek not bad for 3 hour of fishing.
12/08/2013 - JRay - Nisqually River, Pierce County, WA
Went to Mounts Rd, military side, for 2.5 hours today. Fished a dropping tide...I threw Black Corky and Green Yarn, Purple Corky and Green Yarn and even tried tipping both setups with shrimp....nothing. Its my first year fishing the Nisqually Chum run, whats the secret?
12/07/2013 - Jake - Nisqually River, Pierce County, WA
Fished from about 9:00 to noon this morning and didn't see a thing caught. There were about 10 guys fishing including myself and not a chum or anything else was seen the whole time. Maybe they are still down at the mouth, who knows.
12/07/2013 - jeff scott - Puyallup River, Pierce County, WA
Fished the Puke up near electron today......just dead ones on the beach and eagles picking at their eyes everywhere. Then moved down to Orting and fished there for an hour, nothing in the river there either.
12/07/2013 - Roe - Puyallup River, Pierce County, WA
Caught a bright chum buck on bobber jig with prawn. My friend went 7/8 yesterday. Nets go in noon tomorrow to wed noon
12/07/2013 - Fish Guru - Cowlitz River, Lewis County, WA
Water Is Very High. Fishing Was Pretty Good The First Day It Was Raised Up, Don't Know About Since Then. I'm Waiting For The Water To Come Down Before I Head Back Down. Keep Taking It To Them Roy.
12/05/2013 - JJ - Nisqually River, Pierce County, WA

I went to the river again today; to satisfy my addiction mostly. I waited first till it got above 25 degrees, just to try to establish some sort of protocol to keep from freezing my feet/legs and drowning. It was about 11:00 AM. I neither saw nor hooked anything. Saw a few other guys there who had nothing either. Really, I feel like those WWII Japanese soldiers who continued to fight the war for 25 years after it ended because they couldn't believe their country had surrendered. There are no catchable fish in the river right now! I question and challenge those guys who are posting catches on this site: you must be trying to sell something or promote a business. Not that fisherman would ever lie about these things; :-). Oh well; I'll keep trying, just like you guys will.
07/05/2013 - Jeff - Mayfield Lake, Lewis County, WA
Overcast semi-cold day today after a warm day yesterday. Trolled worms (my guaranteed fish catcher) at first and had a few fish. Switched to wedding rings tipped with worms a bit later and found them. A 10-15 foot spot of water that shows up near the middle of the lake off the point at ike kinswa where the rivers merge was the ticket. Two lines out and caught more than our limits in about two hours. Chartreuse and red body with any spinner worked like a charm.
11/21/2013 - Jeff - Anderson Island, Pierce County, WA
Dropped the crab pots (2) between Devil's Head and south end of Anderson. Soaked for 2 hours and got one keeper rock crab. At least 10 undersized dungies in each pot. Advice from some veteran locals...
don't use the danielson pots. The crab can't get in...and when they do they can get out. Also... use squid as bait. I'll try again the first weekend in December.
11/21/2013 - Jeff - Nisqually River, Pierce County, WA
Took the boat out to the delta. Went up the channel until I started encountering sunken logs and anchored. Was planning on floating some herring through. I didn't see any other boats or fish rolling. Sea Lions were rediculous. Multiple packs of them (like 8-10) doing some weird stuff... floating close together with their heads and one fin out of the water. They were just kicking it there. Couldn't tell wtf was going on. didn't see anything promising that day, but it was sunny and a beautiful day. I'll try again the first weekend in december.
12/04/2013 - chris - Nisqually River, Pierce County, WA

12/03/2013 - PatrickC - Nisqually River, Pierce County, WA
Same as everyone else, went to the nasty at lunch, parking lot is still underwater and no sign of fish. If the fish are there they are pushing up with the high water. Tight lines
12/03/2013 - James - Puyallup River, Pierce County, WA
Had no idea there were Sculpin in the river till today, foul hooked one about 4" while drifting eggs out at 116th gravel bar.
Lots of trash; leaves, twigs, etc. dragging in the current along the bottom. Messes up any chance of decent drifts.
Saw a couple fish roll near shore, tossed spinner, spoon, and eggs, no takers.....
Water's dropping, hopefully with this cold spell, it'll clear enough to fish before too long.
12/3/2013 - Roe - Puyallup River, Pierce County, WA

12/01/2013 - Ted - Puyallup River, Pierce County, WA
Night closure ended at midnight. Fished mouth of 66th ave bridge otherwise known as Clarks Creek. My cousin and I released over 15 fish keeping our limits of chrome bucks for the smoker. The fish are in tight to the bank and I recommend fishing above the mouth and casting short swinging into the fish. Not crowded either.
