Not sure why there are not more reports from American lake on here? In years past this bulletin board used to be the go – to board for reports and collaboration. They changed the layout and now everything is so hard to find and it seems people have moved on to other forums. Anyway maybe I can get the American lake fishing reports started again: today was my 10th trip out for the year. Just a couple trout to the boat in four hours of fishing from 10:30 AM to about 1:30 PM. Trolled sling blades and Dodgers with hoochies and some wedding ring spinners. All tipped with Pautzke fire corn or Gulp maggots. Was marking a lot of fish off of the National Guard RV park area just not a lot of biters. Most fish marked between 15 and 25 feet all my bites came at 21 feet on the downrigger. I did have four on and three to the boat. I'm sure number four was a Kokanee. Great day to be on the water hopefully we can see some more consistent reporting here. Good luck to all you and fish on.
Finally got my first Steele ever! and her friend. What a morning, beautiful weather, chill in the air @ 34 deg, View attachment 33118 View attachment 33119 on the river at first light and only one other person for miles. By the time I left with my fish there were still only four people on the entire river from the dead line to the fields. What a great morning to be out. To the gentleman that came along as I was preparing to clean'em and be on my way thanks for the encouragement I was pretty excited if you couldn't tell.
Green River was on fire today under hwy 18. It was a chum-a-thon, even caught fish while reeling in. However, most of the fish exhibited rotten spots but some were decent. It was a nice but cold day out....fish on!
I went this morning in monroe walked down and then up from bridge saw to fish caught upstream fish started Rollin Around 1130 unfortunately I had prior plans and had to leave when action started. Same gear pink DN although I prefer corky and yarn with scent. Good luck
Hit the carbon this morning about half hour before sunrise at the clay wall in Orting and hooked a nice 8 lb hatchery hen (chinook). I was surprised to see one still chrome that far up, it must have been in overdrive getting up there. I was using a #10 glo cheater (green) with black yarn and a size 1 hook with 6 feet of 12 lb leader. Fish on!
Fished Hunter farms and to the left of the store as well hooked one king. No one was getting anything really. Most people left before 9am water level really low not much action save ur gas.
