On the eve of the Halloween weekend, Northwest Wild Country is proud to present the latest in our famous contests: NWWC's "The Eyes Have It" Contest, presented by Wiley X.

The challenge:Simply IDENTIFY THESE 12 SPECIES OF FISH based solely on their eyes.

The payoff: Your choice of fine eyewear from Wiley X, world leaders in high-velocity eye protection. You'll have your choice between the Jake (worn by Skeet Reese), the AirRage, or the P-17, all of which feature proprietary Filter 8 polarization for unequalied clarity and contrast.

THE DETAILS: Please be VERY SPECIFIC about each species of fish identified! As your only official hint, there are a handful of different salmon species in this first "Eyes" contest. BE VERY PRECISE ABOUT WHICH SPECIES of salmon that may or may not be featured.

Hey Stlhdr 42, thanks for the entry. Do me a favor and check out the following line in the rules, above (and I should probably hightlight them to make them a little more clear):

In other words, instead of just "salmon", I'll need to know what specific species: Atlantic? Coho? Sockeye? Chinook? Etc.

Cami and I will be up at 6 am for our Saturday morning coffee, with a side of fish eye quiz results. I am preparing to be embarrassed about how far my guesses are off!
